  Goooood morning everyone!! To start off, We contacted this one girl the other week and she seemed a little "too" interested in the church for a normal contact. My companion and I thought that she was acting like a snake. (Snake is a girl that's more interested in the missionaries than the gospel) eventually she texted us and told us she was looking for the Ideal Christian man to be with in her life... we told her no and sent her an online pamphlet of the law of chastity.  This week the power has been going out a ton. The power went out 4 times at 3 in the morning and let me tell you, sleeping without a fan blowing on me, makes me feel like the old timer missionaries from 50 years ago burning all the time in the heat. It's miserable. It also has been raining a lot this past week. I love the rain a lot especially because it's cloudy and there's no sun BUT, it has been so humid lately and I will walk maybe 3 steps and already be dripping in sweat. That part isn...

  Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening everybody!  I started off this week feeling kinda of lazy and that I wasn't working hard enough as a missionary. We would come home after a really good day of teaching and contacting and I would think, "we could have worked harder" and second guess how good the day actually was.  We had another emotional resilience class and we talked about perfectionism and how we should try and not be perfectionists. At first I thought being a perfectionist was just for that one person in my art class or for homework or school projects. I learned that perfectionism is literally for every aspect of life, not just school.  So I started to chill out a little more in my sector and work hard and we found 11 new people this week! And we found 2 golden people.  First, We contacted a person who said he wasn't interested because his friend was already trying to get him to go to a different church. Wsg y'all. Les get into the week  First off, this week I taught this one girl English. It was the first time I've taught English on the mission and I didn't know where to start. I thought we were going to teach the gospel to a family but they told us they were only interested in their daughter learning English. So the next class we have I'm gonna teach her how to pray in English lol.  This week we started eating lunch with a "mamita" basically we eat lunch with the same person everyday and we pay her 3.50 for every lunch we eat. Ngl the food she makes is kind of mid and I miss eating lunches with the members but, so far so good.  As a specialist we have full control of the music on our mission drive.   What up y'all This past week was super slow and super fast at the same time. Tuesday until Thursday was pretty slow and then the weekend hit and I swear Friday was like an hour ago.  Anway, this past week was super good! I was able to learn a lot more in the office and also teach a lot more people. We were teaching one lesson when a dog popped out of nowhere and ran past me but lunged at my companion and bit him. (Sorry to clickbait with the title but I didn't get bit ✌️) (Picture is on the photo album)  Last Saturday we also had a baptism! We started filling up the font and it stopped halfway. We realized that there wasn't any more water in the church so we went outside to the well at the church and threw a bucket down with a rope and started filling up buckets of water and then putting it into the font.
