WEEK 32: Achievement Unlocked: Krispy Kreme
Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening everybody!
I started off this week feeling kinda of lazy and that I wasn't working hard enough as a missionary. We would come home after a really good day of teaching and contacting and I would think, "we could have worked harder" and second guess how good the day actually was.
We had another emotional resilience class and we talked about perfectionism and how we should try and not be perfectionists. At first I thought being a perfectionist was just for that one person in my art class or for homework or school projects. I learned that perfectionism is literally for every aspect of life, not just school.
So I started to chill out a little more in my sector and work hard and we found 11 new people this week! And we found 2 golden people.
First, We contacted a person who said he wasn't interested because his friend was already trying to get him to go to a different church. After talking a little more we found out that his friend was inviting him to OUR church! So hopefully we're going to talk with them this week.
Second, At church a member told us that she had a reference for us. We showed up to her house and her friend was there. He told us that he had learned about every other church and didn't feel right about any of them. We started teaching him the restoration and also set a second visit with him.
We also finally got one of the people we are teaching to church this week too which was super awesome!
This week I got a call from a random number and I answered it and heard a hard gringo accent say, "We are missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ and we received your number as a reference, are you interested?" I played along and said, "oh yeah I would be interested." He then said, "oh perfect! Do you have whatsapp?" This is when I broke the ice and in english I said, "hey man we're the specialists in the guayaquil west mission and you accidentaly called us lol." Pretty chistoso
This week has also been one of the fastest weeks on my mission. It feels like last weeks pday was yesterday.
We also went to Krispy Kreme this week because a new one opened up right next to us and I forgot how good doughnuts are.
Spiritual thought:
I talked about this a little in my last email but I loved the talk from conference last week about pilars and rays of light. A lot of people think, "pshh if I don't have a Pilar of light descend over me and if I don't see Jesus or angels then I guess I won't believe." Bruh. In the conference talk we learn that we can have small miracles build our testimony.
For example, this week I was looking for a perfect person that would tell us they wanted to be baptized that day. What I didn't see is the many interested people we have found and are helping towards that next step.
Sometimes we need to take a step back and instead of waiting for that "big miracle" look and find the small everyday miracles in your life. You will start to feel better and start to see how much our heavenly father has given us.

Love yall!!
