WEEK 8: Achievement Unlocked: The Ocean

 ¡Buenas todos!

This week has been more on the rough side, I'm going to be honest. Spanish is so tough. I am doing a good job learning words and sharing scriptures in my testimony. The Ecuadorians speak sooooo fast so it's hard to hear what they're saying but, with more practice and listening I hope I can learn fast.
We have also been teaching a lot of lessons and they are going good so far! We invited a couple people to church and most of them showed up, which was awesome. We also have been doing a lot of lessons with 2 members in our ward. They are both super awesome to teach with and they have been showing us where all the members in our ward live which helps out a ton. I don't know what they say half the time so I just smile and nod my head lol.
Today for P-day we went to a place called La Chocolatera which is on the very tip of the peninsula of Ecuador. It was so sick to see the ocean and we even saw some whales too. It was also cool to be able to hangout with all the other missionaries in our zone. We rode in a bike cart that had 4 people and we all pedaled. It was kind of sick.
The Ecuadorian kids are pretty good at english. Their whole vocabulary is the first 10 numbers, how are you, and every swear word you can think of. Big W.
Also, shoutout to all my boys from Idaho. I miss yall so much and just know that God is with you all and that you can do anything that comes your way.
Spiritual Thought
God is in the details of our lives. He can help us with all of our problems. This week we tried finding someone that the last missionaries in our area were teaching but we couldn't find her anywhere. We thought it was a lost cause and went to a little store to find out the lady working was who we were looking for!
I want you all to look for and recognize all the small miracles in your life. There are so many miracles that happen in our lives but if it's not something big we sometimes take it for granted.
I love you all so much! Also, I am allowed to read any messages I get throughout the week on email and facebook messenger but I can't respond until P-day. Keep writing to me! I always love hearing from everyone.
