  Goooood morning everyone.  This week has probably been one of the most interesting and random weeks of my whole mission.  To start off, 2 RMs who served in this mission came back to visit this week so we played soccer with them and it was super good to see my old ZL again.  I put on sunscreen and STILL got burnt on Monday, so my forehead was peeling on Thursday making me feel like I was Micheal Jackson the way my skin tone changed.  This past Saturday was crazy. First off we had a service and we were shovling dirt. A missionary (who will not be named) took a shovel and dirt and said, "If elder Johnson is behind me, he might get clapped" and proceeded to throw dirt behind his back. Unfortunately, I was indeed behind his back and got clapped. I got hit in the head with dirt and the worst part is that a rock flew and hit me right underneath the eye.   Good morning good evening and good afternoon yall.  This past week I was transfered out of my last area in Posorja. It was definitely the toughest sector I've had on the Mish but I'm super grateful for all the lessons I learned there 🙏  Before transfers I had been praying for 1 of 2 things, to go back out to the península (the beach) with Elder Boyd or go to the guasmo with Elder Foutz. I pulled up to transfers and I don't know how but I got put with elder Boyd!  Him and I both started the mission at the same time and haver served in the same zones for over 9 months of our missions and we lived together a transfer. To say I am super grateful for this transfer would be an understatement lol.  This past week at general conference I really liked the talk that said we each need to find our personal, "Why".   Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening a todos.  Yeah so this past week I had to go to the hospital. I have been having some stomach problems for the past couple weeks and after doing some tests it was confirmed that I have another parasite 🥳 I literally am not hungry at all because of the parasite and my stomach constantly hurts. I just gotta eat healthier and kills this brudah off in the next week 💪 God's humbling me frfr with me being prideful and thinking that I can do things on my own and that I am better than others.  Roman's 14:17-19 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.   Good morning, good afternoon, ans good evening ☀️ This past wednesday I ended Intercambios with some elders that live 1 hour away from us in bus. I put my suitcase on the bottom part of the bus because it was too big to take with me up top. We get off the bus with like 20 other people and before I know it, the bus is gone with all of my stuff.  I had my personal scriptures in english, my clothes, my study materials, chargers, etc. Luckily, before I left the house I felt the impression to take out my wallet which had 80 dollars in it.  We went to the bus terminal and found out that there are over 50 buses that come and go every 15 minutes to the terminal here in Posorja and Guayaquil (Guayaquil is 2 hours away from us in bus) and if I didn't know the bus number it would be hard to find...   Gooood morning y'all. I'm grateful for Monday. In also grateful to be writing an email today.  I'm grateful for all of my family and my friends. I'm grateful to be a missionary. I'm grateful to study the scriptures.  These past couple weeks I have been studying a lot about pride and humility. As I was talking with my mom, she told me the best way to get rid of pride is to be grateful for things.  I'm ngl, this transfer has been pretty hard. Staying patient, being humble, and trying to stay happy even when it seems like everything is trying to break me apart. Ether 12:27 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness.   Good morning, good evening, and good afternoon.  This past week we had transfers. I stayed in my sector and got Elder Simons and my new companion! He is from Bolivia and he has 10 months on the mission.  This past week has been pretty rough for me trying to get motivated to get out and work. One thing that has always helped me is a plack that my trainer gave me by Gordan B. Hinkley that says, "Forget yourself and go to work" I have thought a lot about what it truly means to "Forget yourself" One thing I have heard my whole life is to be me and not change who I am for others. I think a lot of people think the same when they hear this phrase.  But this phrase, "Forget yourself" doesnt mean get rid of your emotions and personality. We can see the difference when we get out and serve others.  Have you ever done a service and afterwards you feel really good inside and you want to keep helping others? Thats what this phrase means when it says forget yourself! ...

  One thing I have learned on my mission is the importance of repentance. One thing that I really liked was a quote that I read in Elder Lucass email yesterday and I want to share it with you as well.   "Sister Kristin Yee gave an incredible talk last conference, and she talks about this- "If you are struggling with a situation you think you should have overcome by now, don’t give up. Be patient with yourself, keep your covenants, repent often, seek the help of your leaders if needed, and go to the house of the Lord as regularly as you can. Listen for and heed the promptings He sends you. He will not abandon His covenant relationship with you." We all mess up, it doesn't matter if you are serving a mission, are the prophet or the class president of your seminary class. The most important thing to remember is to NEVER GIVE UP. Keep fighting. Christ didn't die for you so that you can live a miserable life in sin. He died so that we can OVERCOME sin!...
