Week 43: Achievement Unlocked: The Double Headed Dragon
Yoo wsg yall! I hope you all have had a good week this past week.
This past Tuesday we had exchanges and I went on exchanges with an Elder from Mexico. It was super fun only talking in Spanish all day again lol. I found out he used to be in a mariachi band and he taught me how to play a song called "Fuentes de Ortiz" on the guitar.
This past Thursday we had a super good teaching day. We left with 3 different members at different times during the day and none of our lessons fell through!
Ok now for the title of the email, if you get grossed out by sicknesses or bodily fluids do NOT read this next part.
(Message to my trainer) Elder Anderson, I didn't believe the stories of the double headed dragon were real and I thought they were myths. Oh boy was I wrong.
Saturday night we ate a lot of food. We ate lasagna and I had like 4-5 slices of pizza. That being said, I woke up at 4:30 Sunday morning feeling super sick. I was in and out of the bathroom having fluids coming out of 2 different places ifykyk. I also had sharp pains in my stomach all day so my comp and I stayed at home all day. I watched every single movie on the gospel library app.
I got a health blessing from the other Elders in my house and the words he said were super powerful and I knew they were just what I needed to hear.
Some members in our ward made us some chicken noodle soup as well 👌
As of right now I am feeling better. The mission doctor put me on a 12 hour diet where I can only drink fluids and take a certain medicine every 5 hours.
Spiritual Thought: 3 John 1:2-4
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth
This was a scripture that a member sent us when I was sick but I think it's powerful.
3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
The lord loves when we walk in truth and righteousness and he is there to help us when we fall. He has no greater joy than when he sees us doing what is right and following him.
Love yall!
