WEEK 21 & 22: Achievement Unlocked: Back to Normal

Whats up everyone. Sorry for not getting an email out last it was super busy BUT, i am safe in ecuador.

The day after i sent out my last email we were informed that we could start proselyting normally again but we couldnt bring our phone out of the house. As of right now the rules are still the same.
This past thursday we were able to go to the temple! This was super fun because i havent been able to go yet. As soon as we walked through the doors i was hit with the spirit super strongly. It was awesome.
This past saturday we also had a baptism for one of the kids we have been teaching! He is super awesome and it was a special moment to see his commitment to folowing the savior. He had the biggest smile on his face afterwards and it was sooo cool.
We also had divisions this past week in Guayaquil because we left wednesday, had interviews with president and then slept in guayaquil and went to the temple the next day. So on wednesday during our divisions we went with 2 other elders to The Marta and holy guacamole its such a cool sector. We went and visited one member while in guayaquil and the man at home looked at me and said, "ive seen you walking around here before with your tall companion" I told him i had never been in Guayaquil and that my tall companion left for home over a month ago, he then told me, "No you were with elder (name) here in the marta." so who knows, maybe im going to the marta next transfer lol.
This past week has tested my patience sooo much. Ive had a couple struggles with my companion regarding missionary work and what we should do, and also just normal life stuff. He also likes to sleep during our language studies and thats been tough for me because i get no rest but he still just takes an hour nap a day.
I have learned to try and have patience. Times can be tough but you just gotta persevere until the end.
Alma 38: 4-5
4 For I know that thou wast in bonds; yea, and I also know that thou wast stoned for the word’s sake; and thou didst bear all these things with patience because the Lord was with thee; and now thou knowest that the Lord did deliver thee.
5 And now my son, Shiblon, I would that ye should remember, that as much as ye shall put your trust in God even so much ye shall be delivered out of your trials, and your troubles, and your afflictions, and ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
I love you all so much! and i hope yall have an awesome week.
