WEEK 44: Achievement Unlocked: General 70

 What's up everyone! I hope you have all had an amazing week! 

Ok lets get started. The beginning of this week was pretty fun! We had a conference with Elder Pino, he is a general 70. He talked to us a lot about our missionary purpose and how when we signed our name and became missionaries, we are all in and we promised to follow all the rules and truly focus on our mission purpose. 

This week as well we were able to make a lot of progress with 2 people we are teaching. We have taught them almost everything and now we need to wait for them to receive an answer to see if baptism is the right step for them 🙏 

Spiritual Thought: Moroni 7:40-41 

40 And again, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you concerning hope. How is it that ye can attain unto faith, save ye shall have hope?

 41 And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.

 42 Wherefore, if a man have faith he must needs have hope; for without faith there cannot be any hope.

Ya know, sometimes life is just tough. This past week I haven't had the biggest desire to do my studies or to go out into my sector. But I love this scripture and how it talks about Hope. 

We should have hope in our savior Jesus Christ. He truly died for us and because of that we can be saved from the bands of death and live with our families forever. 

Whenever we're feeling sad? Have hope. Whenever we want to give up? Have hope. Whenever we think our trials are too much to handle? Have hope. And have faith that through Jesus Christ, everything will be okay.
