WEEK 52: Achievement Unlocked: 1 Year

Yep, you read that correctly. The 21st of August I hit a full year on the mission. It's so crazy how fast time has gone by so let's talk about it.

Mission stats:
Companions-7
Areas-4
People helped with baptism-7
all nighters- 8, nah just kidding 0...

This week we had a zone conference and it was pretty fun. We talked about the importance of helping people come to church and the importance of going to church. So, this week we invited a ton of people to church and we had 5 people show up! One of them is a beast.

We found this one guy contacting in the streets and he has potential. He's 79 years old and hasn't come to church in a LONG time. He pulled up to church and afterwards he told us that he is going to keep coming to church and share the whole thing with his family so hopefully they are all going to come to church this next week!

Alright all right, I know a lot of you are wondering how I am with my health. I got some tests done and they all came back... normal. They didn't find anything. I was still feeling sick with sharp stomach pains, but I guess my mission thought I was fine because the tests said normal so they kind of stopped helping me. My dad sent me some medicine to buy while here and I took it and now I am feeling 100% normal. Mission: 0 Parents: 1

The biggest thing I have learned on the mission so far is that God ALWAYS answers prayers. I have had a lot of times on the mission where I have wanted time to fly by or I have needed extra help with my health or studying or just being a good missionary in general. I testify that God hears all of our prayers. He may not answer all our prayers in the time that WE want them to be answered. But he hears us.

Moroni 10 3-5
3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you and ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

I invite all of you to pray. If you have any doubts, fears, worries. Pray. Pray with a sincere heart and real intent and our Heavenly Father will make ALL known unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
